Overweight and obesity are defined as ''abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that presents a risk to health''. Obesity is a global public health issue affecting people of every age. Recently, economically developed countries are facing a significant and rapid growth of the childhood obesity epidemic. This paper aims to analyze and compare the formation and implementation of Action plans against childhood obesity, including the actors involved and the policy process of two countries, i.e., the UK and Canada.
