Contact lenses are the smallest and least visible and easily used for correcting refractive errors of the eye. Contact lenses are available in different types shapes, sizes, and colors. With time the purpose of the contact lenses changed from just correcting the refractive errors to the beautification of the eye. And also, with time it is coming out with numerous types of modification in itself for the better use of it and also eases of using them. In this paper, the advancements and future aspects of contact lenses are vividly discussed.
