Abstract
The paper has discussed about the various types of biomedical signals and ventured deep in the topic of ECG signal preprocessing. MATLAB software was used for analysis and research work. Explanation of various types of errors while recording ECG is given in the paper. Various methods of removal of errors called as ECG preprocessing has been discussed such as removal of powerline interference and baseline wander.
