Abstract

The Indian banking sector has full-fledged appreciable growth and changes since the alleviation of the economy in 1991. Though' the industry is usually well regulated and supervised, the world suffers from its own set of challenges once it involves moral practices, money distress and company governance. This study endeavors to hide problems like banking frauds and mounting MasterCard debt, with a close Analysis victimization secondary information (literature review and case approach) moreover as an interview-based approach, spanning across all players concerned in reportage money misconduct. The report touches upon the case of rising NPAs within the past few years across varied regular business banks, particularly public sector banks. The study finally proposes some recommendations to cut back the future prevalence of fraud in Indian banking sector. The believability of third parties like auditing corporations and credit rating agencies is additionally questioned within the study and is believed to be a major contributor amongst alternative causes, like an oversight by banks and inadequate diligence.
