Abstract
Two phenomena have determined the emergence of a new research field. First, the drop of costs involved in electronically collecting and storing interpretation of the world has brought the need for sophisticated technique to handle the outcome data collection. The mapping from acoustic to visual information is the focus of this part of the thesis.
