Application of Taugchi method for Optimization of Dry Sliding wear Process Parameters in Improving the Wear of Al6061+4%B4C+4%CU based Composite

The process parameters can be improved by using Taugchi’s method which is a statistical method of optimization and it also improves the product quality that is manufactured. The main aim of the current research is to apply Taughci method of optimization and ANOVA in the optimization of dry sliding wear process parameters of Al6061- 4%B 4 C & 4% Cu based composite. In current analysis three factors mainly selected for wear optimization and they are loads, sliding speed, sliding distance and effect of these parameters are studies and the optimum value of each factor is find out by using the method of optimization. To study the wear behavior of composite orthogonal array ( L 9 ), Signal to noise ratio analysis of variance is used. The experiment is carried out by using suitable orthogonal array ( L 9 ). Experiments are performed on the pin on disc machine according to the selected orthogonal array. The optimum value of the parameters obtained graphically and confirmation of experiments are carried out. Smaller is the better approach used for selection of optimum parameters. Finally scanning of wearied surfaces under Scanning Electron Microscope and shows the uniform distribution of metal matrix in AMCs.

Android App for Hostel Outpass Form

The prime objective of “Hostel outpass application” is to create a full-fledged Android application which could help the students to fill an outpass form and get approval from the consent staff and coordinators at one click. The form will be approved finally by the parent also thus making sure that the student’s activity is brought to parents notice . This helps in avoiding the problems which occur when carried out manually . It improves the efficiency of the system. It is a customized user-friendly application for hostel students which provides outpass information . This project offers user to enter the data through simple and interactive manner. The user is provided with the option of viewing their previous records of outpass forms in the history tab . The student will be directed to form page where they will have to input the details in the required field regarding the outpass details . Once filled and submitted the form will be sent to the consent staff and Year Coordinator and parent for approval . If the coordinator does not approve your form he will have to give certain reasons to it which will be then forwarded to the consent student . If not the approved , the form will be directed to the student as a final verified form with which the student can go out and use it as an outpass form . Similarly the parent is also given a choice of declining the form. In most cases the parents will not decline but still this notification remains as an intimation made to the parents so that they will be aware of their ward’s activities inside the college premises. However incase of emergency situations the students might not be able to contact their parent or wait for their approval due to several reasons In that case our application provides a more distinguished manner of filling up the forms namely : Emergency and Holiday outpass forms . The emergency outpass form segment enables the user to fill the form at that instance and get it approved only by their respective class in charge and not wait for their parents approval . This will lessen the time consumption without taking much of the student’s time and will be helpful for their need .However the holiday outpass forms will have to be submitted priorly like say before 3 days from the date of issue , for the head of the department and the parent to approve because the student will be aware of the holiday before in hand and thus they can make their necessary arrangements prior to the date . This application enables the student to fill the form in a more easier way than filling it manually. Since everybody uses a smartphone , creating forms through an app is the most convenient manner of establishing such platforms . Parents are also made aware of their children’s activities thus the management need not take up the responsibility as a whole in case of emergency situations . This advancement in technology has proven worthy for all the citizens which enables technologists to come out with such developments useful to them . The main modules of this project are : Student Module HOD module Staff module Parent module Each of these modules have various functions that will enable this application to function as a whole in a more user friendly manner.

Sliding Mode Controller with Modified Sliding Function of Buck Converter Dc-Dc

The dc-dc buck converter is some of the most widely used power electronics circuit for its high conversion efficiency and flexible output voltage. These converter used for electronic device are designed to regulate the output voltage against the change of the input voltage and load current. This leads to the requirement of more advanced control method to meet the real demand .The controller offers advantage such as fixed switching frequency and zero steady state error and give a better small signal performance at the designed operating point but under large parameter and load variation their performance degrades so sliding mode control technique are well suited to dc-dc converter as they are inherently variable structure system .SM controlled converter generally suffer from switching frequency variation when the input voltage and output load are varied. A comparison of the effect of PWM controller and SM control of the dc-dc buck converter response in steady state under line variation and load variation is performed. The comparison with the PWM controller the SM control provides better steady state response, better dynamic response and robustness against system uncertainty disturbance. The converter with conventional sliding mode result in steady state error in load voltage.

Efficient Implementation of 2-Bit Magnitude Comparator Using PTL

Nowadays the requirements of low power electronics play a vital role in various fields. In this paper we introducing the novel comparator is one of the fundamental units in VLSI design and also it can be employed in various applications like Digital Signal Processors (DSP) and Data Processing, Communication Systems, Medical Electronics etc., Comparator is involved to the most basic arithmetic operation of compression between any two variables either it may be an equal one or unequal. In early days, the comparator techniques used to implement energy optimization in low power circuits but the static power dissipation need to improve the comparator using logic styles. In this paper, the 2-bit comparator has been designed by using pass-transistor logic (PTL). PTL provide good performance by reducing transistor count as well as power because PTL logic helps in reducing the transistor count compared to other logic operation. The design was implemented in Cadence virtuoso TMSC 180nm CMOS technology and it’s obtaining the total power dissipation 1.394µw. PTL logic is used to reduce both transistor count and power dissipation in magnitude comparator is used to improve the good quality performance of this circuit.

MPLS VPN using VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding )

Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) which was introduced by Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is usually used in communication networks which started attracting all the internet service provider(ISP) networks with its brilliant and excellent features that provide quality of services (QOS)and guarantees to traffic which carries data from one network to another network directly through labels. Virtual Private Network (VPN) is one of the highly useful MPLS applications which allow a service provider or a large enterprise network to offer network Layer VPN services that guarantee and carries traffic securely and privately from customer’s one to another through the service provider’s network. To support multiple customers that Customers Request for secure, reliable, private and ultrafast connections over the internet MPLS VPN standards include the concept of a virtual router. This feature called a VRF table. VRF or Virtual routing and Forwarding technology that permit a router to have various routing table or multiple VPN at the same time that they are located in the same router but they are independent and Also the VRF feature in VPN now allows different customers to use same IP addresses connected to the same ISP. A VRF exists inside a single MPLS router and typically routers need at least one VRF for each customer attached to that particular router.
