At present India is said to be third largest economy in the world in terms of PPP. However, we still need to find out solutions for high poverty, income inequality and large unemployment. Poor health, malnutrition and low literacy rate are other issues. Provision of employment can solve most of these issues. Hence, in this paper it is tried to analyze the Performance of MAHATMA GANDHI NATIONAL RURAL EMPLOYMENT GUARANTEE SCHEME (MGNREGS) in Past, Present and Future.

Prakruti Parikshan – Critical Review and its Importance in Management of Disease
The word ‘Prakruti’(constitution) means samya (equilibrium), arogya (health), svabhav (nature), karana, end stage of life,body constitution etc. Here Prakruti reflects the natural state of human beings an anatomical,physiological and psychological level that is permanent throughout the life.(1)The purpose of Dashavidha Pariksha (ten fold investigation methods) in Charak Samhita is to obtain knowledge regarding Vyadhi bala(strength of disease) and Rogibala(strength of patient). The Prakruti Parikshan of a person holds a first place in Dashvidh Rogi pariksha described in Ayurveda.(2) In Ayurveda three Doshas Vata,Pitta and Kapha are the basic mutually reciprocal mechanisms that are responsible for the maintenance of homeostasis in human beings.Prakruti is based on Tridosha (three body humors)as well as Triguna (three functional psychic factors) based on dominance of any single or a combination of two or three doshas.(3)Every individual has a different combination and is therefore a distict entity.The individuals of specific prakruti exhibit biological variations in terms of structure, function , behaviour , individual response to internal and external environmental stimuli , susceptibility to different diseases. Prakruti Vinishchaya (prakruti analysis) helpful to physician decides to prescribe a particular medicine and recommends a certain dietary regimen which suits that Prakruti.

Smart blind stick using Arduino
A smart stick conception is constructed to give a smart electronic aid for sightless people. Sightless and visually disabled find difficulties in detecting obstacles during walking in the street. The system is intended to give artificial vision and object finding, real-time backing via making use of Arduino UNO. A brief study had been carried out to understand varied issues related to the design which involves furnishing a smart electronic aid for eyeless people to give artificial vision and object discovery, real backing via GPS module by using Arduino UNO. Our design substantially focuses on visually disabled people who can not walk singly.

An observational, cross-sectional study on Eating disorders amongst college going students.
Aim: The aim of this research paper was to point out the actual factors behind the Eating disorder (ED) prevalant in the college going students in Belagavi, Karnataka and to study the actual factors behind the Eating disorders. As Eating disorder (ED) is a very under-studied topic & hard-to-diagnose because of the psychiatric condition. Especially among the young adults who are mostly college students who face many challenges as they navigate through a transitional stage of life shows a high mortality rate . OBJECTIVE: 1.To find out the risk factors leading to eating disorders among students. 2.To compare the prevalence level among male and female students. METHODOLOGY: - An observational and cross-sectional study was conducted on 200 students from age group 18–25 years by means of simple random sampling. The heights and weights of the students were recorded. A descriptive study design with following questionnaires were distributed among the participants - Eating Attitudes Test (EAT26), Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ34), and Demographic Details. The results were analyzed and tabulated using the SPSS software (version 20.1). Written consent was obtained from the individuals and the permission was obtained from the Head of the institutions. A detailed instruction was given to all the students by the assessor who is not involved in the study. RESULT: It was found that 13% of the students had a high risk for eating disorders. High risk was associated with severe body shape concerns (p<0.001) and high stress. Other factors that had influence were - peer pressure, a history of counselling, excessive physical exercise and the history of certain behavioral symptoms like the use of diet pills and laxatives (p<0.001). CONCLUSION: Eating Disorders (ED) mainly affect women. High stress and body shape concerns have been found to be intrinsically associated with eating disorders. Eating disorder risk is highly prevalent in medical and paramedical students.

Beneficiaries of Maternity Benefit Programmes: A case study of Chittoor District
Women constitute half of the total population in India. Though, their contribution to workforce is also significant, their work has not been considered as economical. But during the 21st Century, the situations have changed and their work is also considered as economical. Due to globalization, the women too coming out of the homes for earning and they were given with more opportunities at all levels at their workplaces both in organized and unorganized sectors. But, it is well known factor that women have to contribute for reproductive spheres also and it will be difficult to them to discharge their work responsibilities during the prenatal, natal and postnatal periods. Hence, the Government has implemented several Maternity Benefit Schemes for facilitating the women at prenatal, natal and post natal conditions. The present study is an attempt to identify the profile of the beneficiaries of Maternity Benefit Programmes in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The study revealed that majority of the beneficiaries of Maternity Benefit Programmes in Chittoor district are younger in age group, belongs to backward communities, highly educated, working as employees and earning less than Rs. 20000/- as income, got married before reaching 20 years and conceived before attainment of 20 years, the gap between first and second pregnancy is one to two years, had institutional deliveries, particularly in government hospitals and adopted family planning after second delivery, undergone family planning operation in government hospital.
