Banana marketing challenges during Covid-19

Banana is a low-priced but high nutritive value fruit hence it is one of the major horticulture crops in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Different varieties of bananas are cultivated to an extent of 1,04,953 hectares across AP state. The yield is estimated to be 62,97,180 tonnes this year. The market has come down from 15000 INR per tonne to 3500 per tonne. What is the possible way out?

Adsorption Behavior of Thorium and some Metal Ions on Cation Exchange Resin Dowex 50 WX8 (Nh4+Form) from Aqueous Acetone-Ammonium Propionate Media

In the field of inorganic separations, the incentive to explore the use of non-aqueous or mixed solvents has been the enhanced selectivity, discovered quite early in such media for Zeolites[1] and ion exchange resins. [2] The partial substitution of an aqueous solution by organic solvent produces a number of changes in an exchange system, such as, change in the solution structure due to the interaction between water and the organic solvent, change in the hydration and salvation of the electrolyte, change in the solvent composition in the resin phase, change in the activity coefficients of the electrolyte in the solution phase as well as in the resin phase, change in the complexation of the metal ion and change in the extent of invasion by an electrolyte. All these changes are mutually dependent and affect the distribution of the metal ion. From the investigations of ion exchange in mixed solvents, it is apparent that the adsorption equilibrium depends markedly on the properties of the organic solvent and reactions with the resin and electrolytes which determine the equilibrium.

Automatic dual-axis solar tracker system using Image Processing

Solar energy is the most inexhaustible, renewable source of energy known to humanity. The energy extracted from photo-voltaic or any solar collector depends on solar irradiance. For maximum extraction of energy from the sun, the solar collector panel should always be normal to the incident radiation. Solar trackers move the solar collector to follow the sun’s path and keep the orientation of the solar collector at an optimal tilt angle. Solar tracking system improves substantially the energy efficiency of photo-voltaic panels. The aim of this project is to develop an Automatic Dual Axis Solar Tracker System with Image Processing in order to improve the efficiency of the solar panels.

Challenges and recommendations of Bangalore University library in COVID pandemic

Abstract ` As a prudent step, The Union Government of India Has pronounced the public level shut down after 22nd March 2020 to break the chain of the COVID 19 pandemic. Be that as it may, the day isn't far away to begin the way toward eliminating the limitations bit by bit in a staged way. Consequently, we the library experts ought to likewise be a plan to resume the libraries alongside the COVID 19. We have an enormous obligation to ensure the customer bases, staff, and library assets in such a pandemic circumstance. While resuming the library after the lockdown we have to bring careful steps to back off and forestall the Coronavirus. The creator has referenced the difficulties and proposed proposals of the libraries during the post lockdown period. The creator has additionally proposing to re-examine the library rules dependent on the proposals and the degree of the power of the pandemic. For the betterment of library users and also for the betterment of the library staff Bangalore university library taking many precautionary measurements with the cooperation of Bangalore university management. Library centers are the places where a large number of people can gather. We have a huge responsibility to protect the clientele, staff, and library resources in such a pandemic situation. While reopening the library after the lockdown we need to take precautionary measures to slow down and prevent the COVID 19.

Harmonics prediction of power system network in the presence of FACTS devices

Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) devices are used in the transmission systems to improve voltage profiles, stability, active and reactive power flows. Basically, these devices are nonlinear. One of the present challenges facing power research groups is the harmonic study and characterization of Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) and their interaction with transmission and distribution networks. This kind of device will distort the steady-state voltage and current waveforms. This work is concerned with the quantification of distorted voltage and current waveforms of power system networks in the presence of FACTS devices. MATLAB code is developed to assess the harmonic performance of five bus test systems.

An intrusion detection system in network traffic with the performance of snort in Wireshark to capture detailed information of data packets

Ideal for any closed data communication system is Data Packet. Network security means data packet security. Every day there are terrible attacks on the Internet. Quality of service has become an issue that requires a powerful traffic analysis and distribution engine for network applications. Network operators can index all applications on their network and use their full set of packet analyses to act as the primary method of intrusion detection. This study mainly focuses on a network intrusion detection system using a network packet analyzer called Wireshark. Therefore, it provides network security through network monitoring tools so that intrusion detection systems can easily gather accurate information. Packet sniffers have the decisive advantage of being an intrusion detection system that detects and blocks a variety of malware and spyware activity in network traffic. It is therefore important to evaluate the performance of Snort in Wireshark to capture, analyze and log detailed information of data packets in network traffic.
