PV-Based MPPT for standalone DC Micro Grids using Fuzzy Logic

Due to the large variations in production and demand, stand-alone green energy management systems are becoming more important for power sharing and voltage regulation tasks. Traditionally used power management methods use maximum energy factor monitoring (MPPT) algorithms and depend on batteries in the event of a power surge or shortage. However, in order to maintain a constant current-constant voltage (IU) charging regime and extend the life of batteries, energy management methods must be more adaptable with regard to power curtailment. The article offers a technique for battery management of a hybrid solar photovoltaic and wind energy device for stand-alone applications. Due to the non-linear nature of battery charging, which is time-varying with a large time delay, it is challenging to obtain the optimum energy management performance using conventional control methods. The article analyses a fuzzy manipulates method for battery charging and discharging in a renewable energy production system. To extend the battery's life, fuzzy control maintains the appropriate level of charge (SOC). A fuzzy logic-based controller is suggested for use in manipulating the battery state of charge of the intended hybrid system, and its performance is validated in contrast to a conventional PI controller.

Minimart a marketplace using dapp on the ethereum blockchain

As the developments in blockchain technology is drastically growing, led to the creation of smart contracts. Smart contracts are code which are stored and self-executed on blockchain. Due to this, it is possible to implement distributed, decentralized applications with their frameworks to be developed and implemented easily. A proof-of-concept system that implements a distributed online marketplace using the Ethereum framework, where buyers and sellers can engage in e-commerce transactions without the need of Intermediary. Performance is usually measured in terms of gas count. It was determined that costs are significantly less than any other online marketplace. Hence, Ethereum is proving much more significant as a distributed on-chain market.

A study of micro-teaching approach and its effect on behavior modification of pupil teachers of teachers training institutions of west Bengal

Microteaching is a technique through which the pupil-teacher chooses a single concept of content to deliver a short lesson to a small group of pupils for a short period of time-based on a single teaching skill. In this study, the researchers investigated the effect of the micro-teaching approach on the behavior modification of pupil teachers at the secondary level of education. For this study, the researchers developed the ‘Teaching Skills Observation Scale’ to analyze pupil teachers’ teaching behavior. The study found a positive effect of the micro-teaching approach on the behavior modification of pupil teachers. Significant differences have been found between the mean scores of science stream pupil teachers and social science stream pupil teachers at the first and final observation. The study also found that the mean scores of female pupil teachers were much higher than the mean scores of male pupil teachers at both the first and final observation.

Fast fashion – Consumer perception and buying practices

The fast fashion industry has changed the way we consume fashion today. The garment industry has continued to neglect the ongoing environmental crisis. Fast fashion focuses on the production of cheap clothing, while completely disregarding its impact on the environment and the labor involved. The concept of green marketing as well as greenwashing play a huge role in understanding how brands portray themselves as “sustainable”, to cater to consumers that value ethical consumption. This research analyzes the primary reason fast fashion is appealing to consumers, their perception and buying practices, through interviews and surveys. The descriptive research elaborates on its impact on the supply chain and the concept of greenwashing. The results suggest that the respondents are reluctant to switch to sustainable alternatives since fast fashion helps them keep up with the latest trends at an affordable price.

Automatic Alphanumeric recognition using Python and OpenCV- A new approach of ANPR

Alphanumeric recognition is a computer aspect that recognizes any digital Image automatically fed from an external source. This system initiates from obtaining digital images, localizing concerned alphanumeric areas, truncating characters and OCR from given alphanumeric characters. This system is intended to be designed and developed for helping in image processing and algorithms to identify the area from where given alphanumeric digits can be identified. These characters in a segmented way are identified with the aid of Open Source Computer Vision Library ( OpenCV) and programmed in python language. In the given source image KNN (k-Nearest Neighbor) algorithm is used to find all possible alphanumeric characters.
