Review paper on improving COVID-19 vaccine distribution in India

With the stark rise in the outbreak of COVID-19 in numerous countries, India, amongst other nations, too is considerably affected by it also it has shaken the global health system and economy by their roots. The virus is still spreading and there are no signs of decreasing the trend. Vaccination is the only effective and important means which could control this situation. Several research institutions and pharmaceutical companies have plunged into the race of vaccine development against COVID‐19 and currently, it is being distributed among normal people. Logistics and supply chain for distribution of vaccine in a country like India where the population is way too much is the challenge. The deployment of COVID-19 vaccines is kind of a challenge because of transportation and storage. Temperature data is an important source of knowledge that can be recorded from different data sources such as sensors. The study focuses on predictive maintenance to manage the vaccine distribution while transporting. Also, it focuses on post-vaccine symptoms data which can be used for improving the vaccine.

Clinical evaluation of Standard Q Rapid Ag TEST vs RT PCR

The Pandemic COVID-19 poses the major problem in diagnosing which requires skilled technicians and well-equipped infrastructure. To overcome we have evaluated the Standard Q rapid Ag test for SARS-CoV-2 virus from nasal swab at POC sites which was eventually compared with RT PCR as reference assay. A maximum of 505 samples were collected from the patients who visit hospitals and laboratories for different purposes with appropriate consent form. It is found to be that rapid Ag test shows good sensitivity, specificity and predictive value range with RT PCR and it will be also useful in swarm screening and in emergency conditions.

Seismic retrofitting and collapse evaluation of irregular bridge with non-linear effects

Performance of bridges with elastic pad bearing is weak in earthquakes. On 2004 Sumatra earth quake Chengappa bridge in Andaman suffered from the dislocation of bridge. This study examine the structural performance of Chengappa bridge with and without dampers. In first model examine the seismic effect of linear bridge with and without damper. In second model seismic effect of double curved bridge is examined with and without damper. Finite element models were developed, time history analysis and dynamic analysis performed using ANSYS to assess the structural performance of these bridge. The dimensions of the bridge used for the analysis taken same as the chengappa bridge for both linear and non-linear effects. Structure were analysed under GM3 earthquake loading. Time period, deck displacement, base shear and acceleration investigated

Change Management & the Concept of Common Data Environment in Indian Construction Industry

Construction industry is that industry in which many spontaneous decisions are taken due to various reasons inadequate information, personal assumptions and the experience of the construction professionals. Project changes and/or adjustments are inevitable as they are a fact-of-life at all stages of a project’s life cycle. Managing changes effectively is crucial to the success of a construction project. There’s a need of the hour that Construction industry needs an Integrated solutions to manage these changes and a systematic change management system to discipline and coordinate the process, for example, documentation, drawing, process, flow, information, cost, schedule and personnel. This research presents an integrated solution by use of OpenKM software. The methodology used will be using OpenKM in the existing construction process and making a more feasible and easy to use interface to counteract the Obstacle due to change management on daily basis and make Time/Cost optimization respectively.

Smart system for student placement prediction

Its goal is to develop college-level forecasting automation, predict the chances of students being placed in information technology companies, and help screen candidates before the hiring process begins. lt involves using machine learning algorithms as a basic model to classify students into appropriate groups, so the results will help them improve their skills and other ways of thinking. The same results are also compared with the results obtained from other models such as logistic regression, random forest, and SVM to obtain the optimal and so on. Placements are considered to be very important for each and every college. The main objective of this model is to predict whether the student gets placed or not in campus recruitment. A high placement rate is a key entity for any educational institution. Hence such a system has a significant place in the educational system of any learning institution.

Review on chalcone (preparation, synthesis of pirazolines ring and biological screening based on chalcones and derivation into pirazolines)

Pyrazolines are well-known and important nitrogen-containing 5-membered heterocyclic compounds. Pyrazolines are known to exhibit different biological and pharmacological properties such as anticancer, antibacterial, antifungal, and ant tubercular activities. Chalcones with an enone group between two aromatic rings exhibit remarkable pharmacological activities such as anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antitumor, antifungal activity.
