A short review on recent technologies of food packaging

The present article focuses on the active and intelligent packaging of fresh foods in food industry. There are several packaging techniques for storing fresh foods in the market and several new technologies developed with or without carbon dioxide absorbers which improves the quality and therefore increases the shelf life of the product. Fruit quality has been checked by using different spectroscopy techniques. Various intelligent packages have been developed which improves the freshness of the food. Nanotechnology methods are useful for detecting the spoilage of the food such as inks, adhesives and usage of oxide barriers. Hence these are useful for increasing the safety of the food to the consumer. These also include toxic free and edible packaging material. New methods such as 3mtm monitor in the future can increase the development of the packaging in the food sector.

Development of empirical correlation for predicting in-situ pavement layer moduli as an alternative to backcalculation analysis

Pavement backcalculation process is mathematically an indeed complex inverse problem that can be approached deterministically or probabilistically for the realistic estimation of pavement layer moduli using nondestructive testing devices. Non- destructive devices like Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and Lightweight deflectometer (LWD) are mostly used in pavement evaluation and construction practices. LWD device is frequently used as a quality control and quality assurance for unbound layers. In this paper, an attempt has been made to develop a simple empirical equation for estimating three layers thin asphalt pavement (≤ 1.96 inches, 50 mm) moduli values using 33.06 lbs (15 kg) and 44.09lbs (20 kg) falling weight with radial geophones deflections data. An empirical equation was developed using multi linear regression analysis after computing the LWD surface deflections for a large number of pavement structures loaded over (300 mm) 12-inch diameter contact area. Developed empirical equations were validated using conventional KGPBACK, Genetic Algorithm based backcalculation software. The pavement layer moduli predicted from the developed correlations were compared with the KGPBACK results. Results depicts that the variation of layer moduli values are minimal. Thus an empirical equation can be used for estimating pavement layer moduli by eliminating the use of backcalulation software for estimating layer moduli for low volume roads during the structural evaluation process.

A study on effectiveness of green human resource management process in private sector

Through the world, we are affecting to industrial development, which rises, business invention, technology and extra business activities. There is an excessive agreement of growth in the accomplishment of environmental management systems by the private sector. This is the high time, when individuals need to practice Green applies to accept the environment and furthermost significant source of the earth i.e. Human. Greening employees since topmost to bottommost is not a calm job, but specialist environmental strategy and executing Green human resource management (GHRM) practices essentially has produced a positive result toward the Green environment. The paper emphases on the GHRM, several Green Human Resource Practices and clarifies the role of green human resource procedure in profitable green. At the present time, there are argument and hesitation related to how green management process can be executed successfully among the employees of the association. In conclusion, the paper proposes about societal consequence of Green human resource process for green private sector.

Review on bio-signal processing software packages

Bio-signal processing and analysis holds great significance in present day medical practice. In recent years, many processing techniques and different algorithms have been developed to help doctors to find new information added in bio- signals which is not easily noticeable in the raw data and hence aid in diagnosis of any ailments. Bio-signal processing is a rapidly evolving field with new processing technique coming out every other day which in turn makes it more and more difficult to be up to date. Signals format, algorithms implementation and comparison, artifacts and various other aspects make the learning of this field a long-drawn process, and in many situations plenty of software components are required to process or visualize bio-signals. In this paper we discuss open sourced, bio signal processing software packages that offer a variety of bio-signal processing algorithms: domain transforms, filtering, wave detection, basic operators, exchange signals format readily in their modules. The objective of this paper is to become an easily referable tool shed that discusses various options of software packages in brief for medical practice or biomedical educational purposes and to evaluate its compatibility with any architecture.

A study on demographic parameters sex ratio and literacy rate of scheduled caste people of Maharashtra : Census-2011 statistical approach

Caste is an important factor in Indian social system. From ancient times, the caste is a factor which is considered a standard for ascertaining identity of each person. The nature of social, cultural, economic and political is decided on the basis of caste system. Hence, caste system is an undivided factor of Indian social structure and it is the basis of Indian social structure.. Over the time, Varna system and caste system were generated in India and Indian society got blocked in Varna and caste system. The constitution of India is enriched with several provisions for schedule caste and schedule tribes to safeguard and promote their cultural, social, educational, economic and political interests in order to bring them in mainstream of the nation. This paper aims to study the demographic parameters sex ratio and literacy rate in SC’s of Maharashtra state of India. In Maharashtra there are total 59 Scheduled caste as per census-2011.Findings of this study was Mahar caste recorded higher population as compare with other. SC’s sex ratio become higher than state sex ratio. But the SC’s literacy rate 69.94 was much lower than state literacy rate which is 82.34. The Female situation of SC’s community was very critical which is shows that because of female and in SC’s they can not take any education .These community needs more educational policies from government to uplift there social and economical condition. Spearman rank correlation coefficient shows that there is strong relationship between sex ratio and literacy rate.
