Monitoring and controlling electric car through IoT using NodeMCU

An application is a set of programs created for the end-user. This Project implements the functionality of an application that allows us to take control over the electric vehicle. Progress in humanity is spread in all areas. Electric vehicle has been providing a promising future for automobiles since so far no suitable alternatives are found. Switching to electric vehicles provides the advantage but the limitations of EV's should also be overcome in short duration. Usage of smartphones over EV's helps us to overcome the plethora of limitations. There are several important technologies and emerging trends in electric vehicle. This technology exchanges information about and for applications of the vehicle with a cloud system by use of IoT. It tends to make vehicles smarter and more intelligent, facilitating safe, efficient and comfortable driving. IoT-enabled infotainment systems are capable of providing information on navigation, telematics, a range of entertainment options, mobility tracking support connectivity with smartphones.

Use of vulcanized rubber in concrete as a partial replacement of coarse aggregates

One of the recommended solutions to solve this environmental problem is to incorporate rubber aggregates resulting from cutting worn tyres in the cement concretes .On this subject, several studies concerning the use of rubber aggregates resulting from crushing worn tyres were carried out. These research works showed that the benefits of associating rub- beer-concrete with high deformability and on the durability of these composites. Moreover, the benefit which we can gain from using the cement concretes for the roadways makes us think about multiplying the studies on the cement composites that incorporate rubber aggregates since the rigidity of the cement concretes can make it possible either to decrease the granular layer necessary to the asphalt road- way or to allow the use of less resistant concretes. This is the case with the use of concretes having a considerable part of rubber aggregates resulting from worn tyres. Even though there are many sustainable destinies for used tyres, the construction industry has shown little understanding of the potential of this waste. However, a number of promising possibilities have been emerging that have some weight in the market: asphalt, kinder- garden and sports area pavements, impact barriers on roads, and breakwaters. These applications prove how interesting it is to pursue new research fields that could show how end- of-life tyres can be reused competitively in the sector.

Biometric fingerprint enabled secure communication using Arduino and RF technology

The undertaking is intended to send verified messages by utilizing an encryption from a PC console utilizing biometric scanner associated with the transmitting unit by means of RF technology. The message is recovered at the recipient end only when the approved personnel’s fingerprint matches with the database utilized by the transmitter. In this manner, complete privacy is kept up in this correspondence procedure. The message composed in by the client is transmitted to the receiving end through RF transmitter. At the less than desirable end the RF beneficiary is coordinated with a fingerprint scanner and show framework. Client at accepting end can just view the message if the fingerprint matches. For instance, in military tasks, security is of foremost significance. So, when there is a requirement for sending any private message, one can type the message through a keypad/PC console interfaced with the framework including a fingerprint authentication, an Arduino NANO and a RF transmitting module.

Disaster Management – Planning and Mitigation

It is quite widely recognized that in many third world countries, disaster mitigation programmes implemented by government agencies suffer from a series of defects and distortions. These include failure to address vulnerability, failure to involve people, and susceptibility to manipulation. The casual attitude towards the natural disasters whether recurrent ones or non-recurrent ones is an intricate manifestation of an internal hope people have about their lives and homes, combined with a lack of understanding of physical relations that control the severity, magnitude and intensity regarding the development of natural disasters. And hence, mitigation of natural disasters should properly be planned and monitored with the main objectives of better preparedness for meeting any situation in terms of relief, rescue and rehabilitation.
