Hand gesture control used for automating human activities

Generally, we designed a real-time human-computer interaction system based on hand gestures. The whole system consists of three components: hand detection, gesture recognition, and human-computer interaction (HCI) based on recognition and realizes the robust control of mouse and keyboard events with higher accuracy of gesture recognition. Specifically, we use the convolutional neural network (CNN) to recognize gestures and makes it attainable to identify relatively complex gestures using only one cheap monocular camera. We introduce the Kalman filter to estimate the hand position based on which the mouse cursor control is realized in a stable and smooth way. During the HCI stage, we develop a simple strategy to avoid the false recognition caused by noises mostly transient, false gestures, and thus to improve the reliability of interaction. The developed system is highly extendable and can be used in human-robotic or other human-machine interaction scenarios with more complex command formats rather than just mouse and keyboard events.

Prediction and diagnosis of liver disease

India having a population of approx.1.3 Billion is the second most populated county in the world and each year millions are diagnosed with liver diseases. Some types of liver diseases are Jaundice, Hepatitis (A, B, C), Fatty Liver Diseases (FLD). These are caused due to consumption of alcohol, contaminated food, obesity, etc. For a common man, it is not practical to diagnose these diseases thus we need a system that is reliable and can predict the symptoms of liver disease. This system predicts liver disease using the patients' data and the Naïve Bayes algorithm.

Platform for patrons

Many of us feel that we can do a lot to help those in need. It can be to help people in poverty or for a cause. A lot of organizations are trying to help people in their own unique way amidst many problems they are facing. But there is a gap in this process where we, the people do not know or do not trust or to put it simply don't have enough proof that what we do will have an impact. The idea of helping others in a trustworthy, transparent and comfortable way with the tap of a button would help people take a step forward and make a difference

Implementing accident rescue system using smart phone

With the increased population rate around the world, the rising demand for automobile has increased the traffic leading to more accidents on the road. The time between the occurrence of the accident and the arrival of the emergency responder the scene is very important and reducing this time may affect the number of fatalities. This project will provide the optimum solution to the above. This proposed system will help to send the information messages to nearby emergency services and the accident location for the timely response. In this project, the accelerometer sensor ADXL355 is used to detect any hit of the vehicle and will send the signal to the Arduino microcontroller. The Arduino UNO is used which send the signal to the main processor and the alert system along with the location o the accident will be sent to the rescue teams and GPS technologies are used in our project.

Integral security option towards unpredictable patterns

The most predominant computer authentication method is to use alphanumerical usernames and passwords whereas this method has been shown many major disadvantages. This is due to the problem that, users tend to choose passwords that can be easily guessed and hacked by hackers. On the other hand, Considering the user has got a password which is difficult to guess, then it is difficult to remember. To overcome this kind of problem of low security, High-end Authentication methods are developed by researchers that use images as crystal clear password. In our research, we conduct a comprehensive study on the existing graphical password techniques and provide a possible solution using Graphical password schemes which have been proposed as a possible alternative to text-based schemes. This is based on the human intelligence analysis such as, humans can remember pictures better than text; Pictures are generally very easy to be remembered or recognized than text. The high-level concept is, the user is permitted to click the portion of an image, each click results in showing a next-image, in effect leading users down a “path” based on the type and portion of click on their sequence of points. A wrong click by the fake user leads down in an incorrect path, with an explicit indication of authentication failure only after the final click. Fake users more than 2 attempts will be blocked from future access.
