Energy audit: Case study of an Institute
India’s economy is affected immensely by the consumption of energy. Excessive use of fossil fuels for the generation of energy not only increases the emission of greenhouse gases but it also increases the cost of energy. In this project, we highlight that Energy Audit is a continuous process to minimize the losses occurring at the consumer end. By suggesting an alternative energy source, the thesis of this project provides an opportunity to reduce carbon footprints, become energy efficient and in turn support capital investment.

Effect of structured teaching program on knowledge regarding cardiopulmonary resuscitation among degree students
The present study entitled “Effect of Structured Teaching Program on Knowledge regarding Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation among Degree students” is based on following Objectives: Assess the pre-test and post-test level of knowledge regarding Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation among degree students; Evaluate the effect of Structured Teaching Program on Knowledge regarding Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation among degree students; Find out the association between the pre-test level of knowledge and selected demographic variables. Methodology: The quantitative approach was used for the study and Pre experimental one group Pre-test Post-test design was selected. This study was based on J W Kenny’s Open System theory. The present study was conducted at MES KVM College, Valancherry among 100-degree students. The samples were selected by using a nonprobability convenient sampling technique. Data were collected by using structured knowledge questionnaire to assess the knowledge regarding CPR. Structured Teaching Program was given on the same day and after 7th day the post-test was done, Analysis: Data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: The mean post-test knowledge score 21.57 was significantly higher than pre-test knowledge score 12.56. The obtained t value was 27.445 and the p-value was 0.0001. The findings showed that the Structured Teaching Program on CPR was effective. There was a significant association between the pre-test knowledge score with their course of study. The study concluded that a structured teaching program was effective in improving the knowledge of degree students.

Invisible facial flushing in COVID-19 patient rapidly detected by smartphone application: Subclinical discovery with a novel method
No studies of COVID-19 patients mentioned that facial flushing was a clinical feature that could be found. The invisible facial flushing in COVID-19 patient, unrecognized clinical sign with the naked eye could be detected by the smartphone application and probably was the most common clinical features of Coronavirus disease 2019 as seen in dengue infection and influenza. We discovered the innovative method which can detect invisible facial flushing in dengue infection and influenza by using image enhancement with decorrelation combined image segmentation with K-means clustering. We expect to be able to apply to the COVID-19 patient too, because the clinical signs and symptoms, including the immunopathogenesis of dengue infection and influenza, are similar to COVID-19. This is the first case of the COVID-19 patient with the appearance of invisible facial flushing detected by the smartphone application. The innovative application may be useful as a rapid screening tool for the diagnosis of COVID-19 patients in the future. This novel screening tool for diagnosis of COVID-19 patients will help all medical service providers the effective screening tool for the recognition and early diagnosis before performing CT scans and real-time RT PCR (RRT-PCR) assays, especially in some health care facilities where could not be performed due to lack of laboratory support. Furthermore, application in active case finding for COVID-19, the key actions to stop transmission is challenging in countries with community transmission.

Relevant impact of the direct response marketing in the blue ocean marketing strategy governed atmosphere
Marketing is an important tool in today’s competitive environment when multiple brands are coming out with the same products. Direct Response marketing has held an important place in this aggressive market as it creates good relations among the producer and the consumer. It utilizes different communication techniques like SMS, online-feedback, e-mails, telephone, and other mediums. The option of getting an immediate response from the consumer makes it interactive and versatile. The method explores the point of view of the consumers placed in different target groups varying on the basis of economic criteria, geological locations, and requirements. It enables the marketer by providing the advantage of customizing the product or changing the marketing approach for products to the different target customer groups by the pattern of their responses provided on those products. The current market has changed from Brand dependent preferences to competitive offer preferences, in which Direct Response Marketing gives an advantage to the Brands for their products. The evidence of the success of Direct Response Marketing can be witnessed by the technology industry giants like Google, who has been using email and another medium as their medium of communication with customers for direct response marketing. In their marketing module, Brand marketing wouldn’t have been as successful as Direct Response Marketing [1]. This paper has two parts to it, the first part being the proper understanding of the importance of Direct Response marketing in the current atmosphere. The other aspect of the paper is the proper use of the tool in the Blue Ocean Marketing Strategies being applied in the aggressive market environment.

IoE – Smart Classroom
This paper explains the functionality of a Smart classroom. The room consists of a home gateway and all the IoT devices like a smart window, laptop, camera, door, and fan are connected to it. An RFID reader is integrated into the door. When the student/faculty scans the student id card (RFID Card)/faculty id card the door automatically opens and the student roll number/faculty id number is stored in the server. The laptop is the admin laptop and all the IoT devices in the room can be controlled and monitored like turn on/turn off the fan, open/close the window, turn on/turn off the camera. The door is connected to the laptop which makes the opening and closing easier when a student/faculty forgot to carry the ID cards. There is a smartphone integrated into the network where the Head of the department can monitor the classroom from anywhere. The camera helps to check whether the classes are functioning properly on time.

MANET Intrusion Detection System using cross-layer
MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc Network) could also be a self-configuring and infrastructure less network that consists of mobile nodes that communicate with each other through wireless links. This paper analyzes the Blackhole attack which is one of the possible attacks in ad-hoc networks. The intruder, once chosen as an intermediate node, drops the packets instead of forwarding or processing them, causing a neighborhood (BH) within the network. The goal is to develop an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) to secure routing in MANET. So on the beat this defect, we propose a cross-layer based IDS techniques. To use cross-layer techniques to detect and isolate malicious node in MANET then updating malicious node information within the routing table. For cross-layer, we use MAC and network layer. The medium access control (MAC) protocol allows mobile nodes to share a typical broadcast channel. The network-layer holds the multi-hop communication paths over the network. This paper gives the corresponding simulation results in NS2. With the help of performance metrics like packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay, and throughput, it's shown that cross-layering between AODV and Modified DSR. This paper gives the result of AODV is best among the two protocols.
