An attempt of best scheduling approach for a construction project

The current study is an attempt made to decide the best scheduling approach to a construction project in order to deliver it on time, quality and cost. The major constraints typically observed in any construction project are time overruns, cost overruns. It is, therefore, necessary for a project manager to attempt the best scheduling approach based on the study of project ideals and project constraints. A Project ideal is a measure of success. Common project ideals identified are Highest client satisfaction, Highest quality for deliverables, shortest time possible and lowest cost possible. The typical project constraints are Knowledge, Time, cost, resource and risk constraints. After having a project PIC analysis, the best scheduling approach is decided like an Agile approach when knowledge is a constraint or when the ideal is the highest client satisfaction, Critical path method when time is dominant and time is ideal, Resource Critical Path ( RCP) approach in any resource-constrained project. A logical sequence of activities with assigned duration and resources is made and the schedule is prepared. The critical path method is the approach used widely in a construction project. Critical path and critical activities are studied in advance with the use of MSP 2016 or any other computer software and critically monitored so that these activities are completed on time and there should not be any delay in completing these activities.

Automatic Saline Re-filler for COVID-19 patients using IoT

This work majorly concentrates on how automatic refilling of saline is done to the COVID 19 patients in the Intensive care Unit (ICU) or in the Critical Isolation ward so that continuous contact for the doctors with the positive patients can be minimized. In addition to this patient's BP, Heart rate can be monitored from outside of critical wards.

Home Automation with voice control

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a WorldWide network of smart objects. A smart home solution that allows users to specify and centrally control the Internet of Things smart objects. It also provides a user interface to graphically illustrate the data received from smart objects. A typical smart home is composed of several SOs that communicate with a central application. Basic aim is to control or monitor signals from different appliances, or basic services. To make devices to be user friendly, rather than searching for electronic deviceto give commands.

Precision farming using embedded systems and machine learning

Agriculture plays one of the major roles in the occupation of India and machine learning is a growing field in agricultural analysis. Choosing a particular crop is an extremely important issue during agriculture. Any farmer is curious about getting the recommendation of the crop he should grow. The common problem existing among Indian farmers is they don’t choose right crop supported their soil requirements. Because of this they face big set back in productivity and leads to a loss in income. Also monitoring weather is a crucial part of precision agriculture. A farmer cant fight with the weather. However, he can accept the given situation and take additional farm management practices to attenuate crop losses and take precautions beforehand. Therefore accurate information regarding weather is vital in order that farm activities are often planned without adverse events. Being conscious of real-time weather is best thanks to protecting crops and a secure high and healthy yield. In this paper, this problem is solved by proposing a crop recommendation system using a Machine learning algorithm and getting real-time data of weather using wireless sensors in one system will be really beneficial for the farmers.

A survey on operating systems, LFS and BLFS

Recently, government organizations, specialists have been attracted to the movement of open-source software and on top of them, the Linux open-source and free operating system has caught the most attention. So much so that in this movement even the biggest companies like Google, Oracle have stepped forward and are developing open-source software, particularly Linux. This paper states the stepwise development of a Linux based operating system with the Linux from Scratch (LFS) method. First, we take a look at different operating systems, and the need to develop another Linux-based system. The advantages and disadvantages of these operating systems are presented. And further, we analyze a step by step method from “scratch” to a complete Linux-based operating system.

Recommendation system of course selection

This module is a program for recommending various courses on the basis of academic results and student selection. Students choose specific courses of study because of their interests and possible future development upon graduation. It is a unique approach to student counseling that proposes different approaches to learners and resources, processing natural languages, indicators for developing skills and knowledge. It collects course information and commends them according to their students' preferences, interests and needs. Choosing the wrong subjects means the discrepancy between the student's understanding, power, and personal interest. Problems arise when a student is not interested in the course that is not well-matched with the student's ability. In this module, the system assesses the power of psychometric tests and is based on their previous learning outcomes. Incorporating all aspects, speaking and deciding which lessons should be recommended by learners. So it's nice to have some kind of smart complementary tools that need to be made to help them.
