Aesthetic rehabilitation of fluorosis teeth with power bleaching: A case series

“Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.” Quote by Jim Rohn. In today’s world of immediate gratification, in-office bleaching is one of the most requested procedures in many dental offices, a great way to get a fast and immediate change in the color of their teeth. Material and Methods: Bleaching that is done in the clinic, where immediate results are expected is called Power bleaching. Power bleaching often uses hydrogen peroxide, an activating light or laser, and also requires a rubber dam or tissue dam to be placed to protect the gums. Case series describes the management of fluorotic discoloration combined with surface micro-abrasion & in-office LED light-activated vital bleaching techniques. Conclusion: Effect of power bleaching with high intensity LED devices to provide more intense bleaching for a longer period without risk of pulpal damage, selective heating during bleaching, number sittings were reduced, effective bleaching & desirable result obtained in a short period of time.

To build or to partner – Dilemma case study

This is a classic dilemma case that most promising start-ups face, it is always a catch 22 situation on valuation and long term growth as against quick fixes and exit. This is one such case the shows the power of the product in video advertising but is facing issues around scaling leading to a dilemma on what the company should do, whether to build the business or just partner with a larger firm to keep the fire burning.

Women’s participation in Tourism industry: An overview

In India, Women are termed as “Aadhi awadi” that means the half population of India but by the data of census the current Sex Ratio of India in 2015 is 943 Females/1000 Males. At the present scenario apart from gender discriminations, women have touched the new heights of success in every sector by their capabilities so Govt. of India has made many efforts of women employment for improve their financial and social status by safe working in every sector as government and private. Since the tourism industry contributes average of the country’s GDP was 5.8 % and 8.3 % of total employment (ILO 2009). India is expected to be the second fastest growing (8.8%) nation in the world, over the period 2005-2015, tourism industry is one of the major employer of women, offers various job opportunities for independent income generating activities and seems to be a particularly important sector for women (46 % of the workforce are women) as their percentages of employment in most countries are higher than in the workforce in general (34 - 40 % are women, ILO data). One of the service sectors is ‘Tourism’, the fast upcoming Service Industry on the economic scenario of the world and women are feeling as the “face” and “Brand image” of the industry. Here by this paper an attempt has been made to discuss the recent trends in tourism sector and to highlight the opportunity to work for women in this sector with special reference to India.

Development of AI-Alloy piston coating material for high specific power engine application

The depletion of conventional fuel sources at a tremendous rate and increasing environmental pollution has motivated extensive research and development in the combustion chamber of the engine. In the present study, multilayer ceramic coating on the piston crown was developed to improve thermal efficiency, combustion and exhaust emission, fuel consumption. Also, ceramic coating on crown withstands the elevated temperature and pressure and provides maximum working efficiency. The property advantages of Alumina and Yttria Stabilized Zirconia in combination were utilized to fabricate the Thermal Barrier Coating (TBC) in this study. The multilayer coating of alumina and zirconia was fabricated using an air plasma spray method. For effective bonding, a Ni-based bond coat was applied on the substrate before TBC topcoat. A research piston similar to the actual piston was used to fabricate TBC coating. Microstructural characterization was carried out to check the coating uniformity using Optical and Scanning Electron Microscope. The defect-free uniform coating was formed with an average thickness of bond coat, alumina and YSZ was about 90 µm, 70 µm, and 180 µm respectively. The performance of the TBC coating on the crown of the research piston was assessed by subjecting to the thermal barrier and thermal shock tests. In the thermal barrier test, a maximum temperature drop of 265 °C was observed at 590 °C. Delamination of the bond coat was observed after 90 cycles. Microstructural analysis was also carried out to study the damage that occurred during thermal exposure. All the observation and the test results of this investigation are reported here.

Combating money laundering using artificial intelligence

In today’s world, money laundering is a major issue, so there is a need to fight against money laundering. “Cleaning stolen money, making the source of money no longer exist, called Money Laundering” Financial transactions are huge so it is a challenging task to detect money laundering. As earlier AMLS ( Anti-Money Laundering Suite) was introduced to detect suspicious activities but it is applicable only on individual transactions not for a credit card transaction and other bank transactions. To Overcome these issues of AMLS we propose a Machine Learning method to identify common attributes and behavior with other bank account transactions and also identify suspicious transactions through credit cards. Detection of Money Laundering transaction from a large volume dataset is difficult, so we reduce the input dataset and then calculating the annual turnover of their credit card transfer set a max value which is to be transferred.  Also, find a pair of the transaction with another bank account with common attributes and behavior.

Simulation and design of DC-DC boost converter

Within the photovoltaic (PV) power market, the ac PV module has shown significant growth. However, a high voltage gain converter is essential for the module grid connection through the dc-ac inverter. This thesis proposes a converter that uses a floating active switch to split the power on the PV panel when the ac module is closed; this design protects the input and users from electrical hazards. In addition to the limited amount of work and many measurements of the integrated inductor, this converter achieves a high degree of electrical conversion efficiency; the leakage inductor power of the integrated inductor is well used in the load. These features explain the efficiency of the module.
