Handling big data using NoSQL

With the development of Big Data, the utilization of NoSQL (Not just SQL) innovation is rising quickly among web organizations and different undertakings. Advantages incorporate straightforwardness of plan, level scaling and better command over accessibility. NoSQL databases are progressively viewed as a feasible option in contrast to relational databases, as more associations perceive that its pattern less information model is a superior strategy for taking care of the huge volumes of organized, semi-organized and unstructured information, being caught and handled today. For instance, NoSQL databases are regularly used to gather and store web-based life information. This paper means to present the ideas driving NoSQL, gives a survey of applicable writing, features the diverse NoSQL database types, and give contentions to and against embracing NoSQL. A little model application has been created to evaluate the expressed NoSQL benefits and delineate the contrasts between the SQL and NoSQL approaches. The last segment of the paper offers a few ends and suggestions for further research to develop our examination work.

Design and analysis of low power 1-bit hybrid full adder using 130nm technology

Basically, a conventional CMOS logic circuit design approach depends upon charging the output capacitive nodes to the supply voltage Vdd or discharging it to the ground. This is one of the most used methods in VLSI circuit designs. There are various techniques to design low power circuits to reduce power consumption. The major source of power dissipation is the charging and discharging of the capacitor. Whenever a capacitor is discharged to ground, an amount of energy stored in the capacitor is mislaid. We can reduce this power dissipation by restoring this energy to the source instead of discharging to the ground. It has been observed that by charging the capacitor gradually, the energy requirement is slighter than the faster charging method. The modern VLSI techniques focus significantly on High-Speed Propagation and Low Power Consumption. In this study, I present a low power 1-bit hybrid full adder design which utilizes both static CMOS logic and Swing Restoring Pass Transistor Logic. Moreover, a comparison is made on the power consumptions of various other designs with this work. The full adders are designed in Mentor Graphics 130nm technology. Starting at 0.4V supply, the average power consumed by this Hybrid design is 2.33µW.

Mobile Cloud Computing: Overview and challenges

Today is the era of Cloud Computing Technology in IT Industries. Cloud Computing is Internet-based computing, whereby shared information, resources, and software, are provided to terminals and portable devices on-demand. The rapid development of mobile technology and wireless networking and drives a strong demand for Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC). In MCC environment Cloud Computing, Mobile Computing and Networking are combined to offer cloud based services to mobile users where the data are stored and applications are processed in a centralized computing applications located in the cloud. In this paper first, we present the overview of MCC in terms of architecture, deployment models, service models and applications of MCC. Then we outlined issues and challenges related to MCC.

Experimental investigation on geopolymer concrete with fly ash and quarry dust

These days the pollution caused by the construction industry is so high that it will be a great relief for the construction workers as well as peoples to get rid of this environmental pollution caused due to the concrete industry with heavy usage of Portland cement. so in order to tackle that issue, it is highly important to find some substitutes that replace the cement properties. Hence in this paper, the use of by-products from the construction industry is highlighted. one such component is fly ash which has good properties are been used instead of cement and to replace fine aggregate quarry dust is used along with some alkaline solutions which will act as a binder for the process. Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Silicate Potassium Hydroxide, Potassium Silicate are some of the alkaline solutions used as a binder. Here in this project Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and sodium silicate (Na2Sio3) are been used that too in different molarities i.e. 8M, 10M and 12M are taken to for the mixes. And the ultimate aim of this is to find Compressive strength for each of the mix along with tensile strength too. Nine cube and six-cylinder specimens are taken of size 150mm x 150mm x 150mm and 150 x 300 mm. The test is done for different ages like 7,14 and 28 days and also split tensile strength test for 7th and 28 days with sunlight curing and finally, the strengths are calculated.

Optimization and standardization of lemon grass incorporated into pseudostem and mint extracts based isotonic drink

The Lemongrass based Isotonic Drink was developed with the incorporation of the banana pseudostem and mint extracts using palm sugar syrup as a sweetener. The quality of the product was computed by a series of microbiological tests, proximate analysis, and organoleptic evaluation. The microbial load was evaluated and is found to be <10 which meant that the product has increased shelf life with better taste and color even in the absence of preservatives. Therefore, the aroma of lemongrass, nutrients of pseudostem, freshness, and flavor of mint along with palm sugar elevates its economic importance, consumer awareness and attracts them towards the advent of blended functional drinks. The Response Surface Methodology aims at optimizing the ingredients and designing experiments from which the final product is formulated. This software helps in showing the interaction of the independent variables at each response with the use of 3D graphical representation.
