Utilization of industrial wastes for co-processing in cement production reducing environmental impacts

Rapid industrialization in the State of Gujarat is increasing the tremendous amount of industrial wastes for disposal. Secured landfill (TSDF) is a safe and economical disposal method which requires very fewer efforts to generators. In another side, the cement industry is an intensive consumer of natural material resources, energy and also has great potential for pollution besides greenhouse gas emission. Proper utilization of industrial wastes as an alternate fuel and raw materials can decrease the environmental impacts lowering the consumption of natural materials and energy considerably. Further, utilization of wastes as AFR seems more economical to the generator as the cost of disposal at TSDF is almost zero and also for cement plant as it reduces costs towards mineral mined materials consumption & energy requirements.

Targeted advertising using Google Map

The rapid growth of the social network has led to making availability in customer tastes and preferences. This data can be exploited to serve the customers better and offer them the advertisements they would be glad to see. To provide a relevant advertisement to consumers, one has to consider the location of the consumer as well. The consumers will highly contend if the offers shown to them are easily accessible in nearby areas. Advertisements have become today’s most direct marketing channel that provides information and discount offers about products to customers and allow marketers to reach a precise goal by creating campaigns. Making these Ads location-specific would not only render them more relevant but also personalized and targeted to a specific audience. Mobile in-app advertising is growing in popularity. While these ads have excellent user-tracking properties through mobile device GPS, they have raised concerns among privacy advocates. There is an ongoing debate on the value of different types of mobile targeting, the incentives of ad-networks to engage in behavioral targeting and share user-data with advertisers, and the role of regulation.

Power factor improvement and torque ripple reduction in BLDC motor

In recent years Brushless DC motors (BLDC) area unit the analysis hot spot in speed exactness and unit applications because of its high responsibleness, easy frame, high potency, quick dynamic response, compact size, low maintenance, etc., Because of electronic commutation, the ripples are generated in the electromagnetic torque and the power factor of the AC mains gets affected due to its operation. The operation of BLDC motors is based on the rotor position sensing using sensors or sensorless scheme. In the proposed work, the performance of the BLDC motor is improved through the reduction of ripples in the electromagnetic torque. A CUK DC-DC converter topology is implemented in this method that reduces the power quality problems and improves the power factor at AC mains. Among different torque minimization techniques, implementation of the Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) gives better performance in the efficiency as well as smoother distortion less stator current. So it is implemented in this work to reduce the torque ripples. From the simulation results, it is observed that the efficiency of the motor is improved by power factor correction and torque ripples reduction.

An analytical study of Andhra Pradesh assembly past poll data to predict the outcome of current polls-2019

This study, by analyzing the poll scenario and poll data of the past general elections conducted for the assembly of the state of Andhra Pradesh from the date of its formation, aims at a) predicting outcome of present general elections-2019. b) predicting a number of seats to be won by major parties. A retrospective comparative study was designed on the data pertaining to seat share and vote share of major political parties in all the previously conducted general assembly elections (till 2014) and it was analyzed using linear charts. Three possible outcomes, in the order of probability, were obtained. Poll prediction can be done when past data is analyzed in a methodical way. of course, the validity of prediction awaits the decision of time, as these predictions are done ahead of polling-2019.

Alcoholic sensor to side step drunken driving road accidents

As for the survey done on the drunken and driving accidents are becoming more day by day. To overcome this issue we can initialize the alcoholic sensor and seat belt sensor to the vehicles. If we place an alcoholic sensor in the vehicles that sensors will identify the percentage of alcohol containing in the body and allow the engine too gets starts if the percentage of alcohol is more than the limit ignition will be blocked by the sensor. To sidestep the drunken driving accidents our proposed work may be useful to society. This system is integrating on the alcohol sensor, seat belt sensor with a microcontroller, relay switch and battery. The alcohol sensor used in our project is MQ-3 which detect the presence of alcohol content in human breath. Vehicle ignition system gets power from the battery through a relay switch. The ignition system will operate based on the level of blood alcohol content(BAC)in human breath detected by the alcohol sensor and if the seat belt is not used then the sensor will not allow microcontroller supply power to spark plug.
