Design and simulation of DC voltage multiplier using 555 timer

This paper contains simulation and design of DC voltage multiplier using principle of charging, discharging and storing properties of capacitor with the help of different stages of boosting with each stage containing capacitor and diode set, contributing to particular boosting multiplier. In this project we have used 4 stages of cascaded multiplier, each stage adding 12 volt, stepping up 12V DC input to 48V DC output. Since charging and discharging of capacitor requires pulsating DC voltage, so a constant DC voltage is first converted into pulsating DC voltage with the help of a 555 timer.

Automatic license plate detection and recognition using OpenCV

License plate recognition (LPR) has always been one of the crucial predicaments faced due to in numerous reasons such as severe lighting conditions, complex background, unpredicted weather conditions, low light and more. This paper is to enlight the above-mentioned muddles through a model based on OpenCV for enhancing details of edge information in license plate with improved text detection and recognition methods. LPR is a cutting-edge, next-generation system with imminent technological application in almost every field of the transportation industry.

Automatic street lighting system using LDR

Automatic Street lighting System is a simple, yet powerful concept, which uses LDR sensor as a switch. By using this system we can eradicate manual work at 100%. It automatically switches the lights ON when the sunlight goes below the visible region of our eyes. This is done by a sensor called Light Dependant Resistor (LDR) which senses the light actually like our eyes. It automatically switches OFF lights whenever the sunlight comes visible to a sensor. By using this system energy consumption is also reduced because nowadays the manually operated street lights are not switched off even after the sunlight comes visible and also switching ON earlier before sunset. In this project no need of manual operation like ON time and OFF time setting. This project clearly demonstrates the working of the transistor in the saturation region and cut-off region. The working of the relay is also known. Implementation of this project encourages digital work. Light dependent resistor, a photoconductive device has been used as the transducer to convert light energy into electrical energy. The central dogma of the circuit is that the change in voltage drop across the light dependent resistor on illumination or darkness switches the transistor between the cut-off region or saturation region and switches OFF or ON the LED.

Automate data extraction

Data extraction is considered as one of the most import steps in Software development life cycle(SDLC). Collecting data manually will extend the delivery time of a product. So data extraction part is automated in order to deliver things in time and also with nil errors.

Reduction and reproduction of information using special principle

The paper written here regards a method which invokes a certain principle to reduce the content of a collection of data. The original content can be replicated in the exact same way. Meaning, there will be no data loss after the procedure. In this method, no data is needed to be stored as guidance/requirement for the reproduction of original data. This means that this method can be repeated to the resultant of the previous procedure done using this method and so on. For multiple processes, the number of times this method have been applied has to be stored (and obviously, the final data set in reduced form) to get the original data set. This method first converts a given data set into another data set which is termed “special” (how is it special?). This special data set can be reduced considerably to another data set of lesser content than the original and so on. The main idea here is to convert to that special form. Note has to be taken here that the reduction is reasonable which fits one practical criteria (that is a reasonable reduction). A particular pattern in these special numbers will be shown.
