Comparative Study of CSR Spending by Selected Companies in India-A Post mandatory CSR scenario

The present study aims at comparing the CSR expenditure and coverage of activities by the top 10 CSR spending companies in India as reported by the National CSR portal of India. In India, CSR is governed by clause 135 of the new Companies Act 2013. Many directives regarding CSR spending have been laid down in the new clause. It is found that though public sector organizations have performed well private sector has performed better as far as the amount spent on CSR is considered. Other than Covid's response, Education and Health have been the top priority focus area for the top 10 CSR spending companies in India.

Low mutual coupling with dual-element MIMO system for sub-6 GHz 5G and WLAN applications

A Two-band double port MIMO radio wire which is having low common coupling is proposed for the 5G/WLAN application. The general size of the MIMO receiving wire is (18 × 44 × 0.8) mm3. The inconsistent arm of the IFA(Inverted F-Antenna) is the justification behind the two groups. Bowing and expanding the size of the arms with the flight of stairs shape is liable for the proposed two groups having a thunderous recurrence at 3.5 GHz (3.3 GHz-3.65 GHz) and 4.7 GHz (4.76 GHz-5.5 GHz) separately with rate impedance data transmission of 10% and 15%, individually. The proposed receiving wire utilizes a straightforward Defected Ground Structure (DGS) in view of rectangular openings and roundabout stubs to accomplish Low Mutual Coupling (better than 15.2dB and 15.4dB separately for the two groups) between the ports. The ongoing dissemination and radiation designs are inside as far as possible. The Software utilized in this Antenna configuration is Ansoft HFSS Software.

Effectiveness of awareness program on disaster preparedness and mitigation among teachers in selected secondary schools of City.

Emergency planning is a systematic and ongoing process that should evolve as lessons are learned and circumstances change. Its aim is to prevent emergencies from occurring and when they do occur, good planning should reduce, control or mitigate the effects of the emergency. One group pre-test post-test design was used in this study. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 150 Secondary school teachers. Based on the objective collected data was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics like mean, median, standard deviation, paired t-test, and chi-square test. An analysis finds depict that the corresponding p<0.05, so the null hypothesis is rejected. The change in the post-test knowledge score (22.74) of teachers is significantly higher than the pre-test score (16.09). An awareness program is proved an effective method to improve the knowledge of teacher regarding disaster preparedness and mitigation. The study also had a significant association between knowledge score and gender, previous knowledge of disaster preparedness, and mitigation.

The knowledge regarding early warning signs and preventive measures of suicide among caregivers of mentally ill patients from selected psychiatric hospitals.

Suicide is an act of taking one's own life voluntarily. The caregivers often come in contact with patients to find the early warning signs and preventive measures for suicide among mentally ill patients. The objective of the study were1) To assess the knowledge regarding early warning signs of suicide among caregivers of mentally ill patients. 2) To assess the knowledge regarding preventive measures of suicide among caregivers of mentally ill patients. 3) To find out the association between the knowledge of early warning signs of suicide among the caregivers of mentally ill patients with selected sociodemographic variables. 4) To find out the association between the knowledge of preventive measures of suicide among the caregivers of mentally ill patients with selected sociodemographic variables. Material and methods of study were tools developed in the form of three sections demographic variables, general knowledge and early warning signs of suicide, and preventive measures of suicide. The non-probability purposive sampling technique was used for selecting 150 caregivers from psychiatric hospitals. Results of the study indicated that findings of demographic variables reveal that, there was a significant relationship found between knowledge of early warning signs of suicide with religion, residence, duration of care given by caregiver and there was a significant relationship found between knowledge of preventive measures of suicide with a diagnosis of the patient, religion, duration of care given by caregiver, History of suicide attempts inpatient. The finding of the study reveals that a maximum number of samples (62.7%) had average knowledge of early warning signs, (20%) had Good knowledge, and (17.3%) had poor knowledge of early warning signs of suicide. And a maximum number of samples (56%) had average knowledge of preventive measures, (21.33%) had good knowledge, and (22.67%) had poor knowledge of preventive measures for suicide. The study concluded that caregivers have significant knowledge about the early warning signs and preventive measures of suicide among caregivers of mentally ill patients.

Objectual understanding of the moments of Sun & Moon in the context of Earth geographical changes influenced by the living and nonliving beings functions followed for better balancing position and the symbological approach.

Objectual understanding of the moments of Sun and Moon in the context of Earth geographical changes influenced by the living and nonliving beings functions followed for better balancing position and the symbological approach. Research-based on the functions followed in ancient and modern times by understanding the moments of the Sun, Moon, and Earth for improving better balance and going through the right directions for obtaining good balancing positions. Explaining the symbological approach for symbolic communication based on the moments of the sun and the moon.

Design of Voltage fluctuation and Arc fault Protection for home appliances

Power surges and arc fault tripping can occur simultaneously and can happen both at the same time. Nowadays, there are only a few devices that can protect one at a time. The objective of this study is to design and develop a prototype where a surge protector and an arc fault interrupter can be integrated into a single device. The main components to developing this device are the power surge protector and AFCI. To further support this study, the researchers conducted thorough data analysis and testing. The data analysis conducted by the researchers has three (3) phases. The first phase is to determine if the surge protector is working given its function. At a voltage of 180-265 volts, the surge protector reacted at an average of 1 minute and 34 seconds to normalize the flow of voltage. The second phase of testing is to determine if AFCI is working given its function based on different scenarios such as touching a test probe to a wrong surface, worn or loose connection, gaps in insulation, and corrosion. Finally, the last phase is to integrate the power surge protector and AFCI where a simple parallel connection was successfully used.
