Development of lightweight and secure IoT device management framework

The area of the Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly growing, raising severe security concerns for the entire network. Due to its high traffic volume and real-time operation, a security framework is essential. The paradigm of the Internet of Things (IoT) requires pervasive connectivity to billions of heterogeneous devices. Devices in the Internet of Things (IoT) are very limited in processing capacity, memory, and storage. Therefore, a lightweight security process is to be provided for IoT devices in other to create the required development. This paper introduces several developments in lightweight versions of various known security processes and analyzes each relevant process. With a machine-learning-based model process that provides a lightweight solution that works by selecting the best features leveraging well-known filter and wrapper methods for feature selection. The strategy can be evaluated over different datasets collected from varying network scenarios.

Effect of parenting styles on emotional intelligence in single children vs first borns vs second borns

Adolescence is a transitional age when rapid physiological, emotional and psychological changes occur. All these developments need to be taken into consideration as it creates a strong foundation before entering adulthood. It can help individuals live a life with positive well-being resulting in self-actualization. This research is aimed to study the relationship between parenting styles, emotional intelligence and birth order. The population consisted of 178 parents and 313 adolescents. The results stated that parenting styles do have an impact on emotional intelligence. Moreover, birth order also affects the emotional capabilities of children even though they were raised by the same parents. The present study revealed that among all the adolescents who were raised authoritively, second borns possessed more emotional intelligence. Between single children, first borns and second borns who were raised by authoritarian parents, second borns again scored high E.I. scores. Lastly, among all the adolescents who were raised using permissive parenting style, firstborns had more emotional capabilities than the single children and second borns.

HR analytics employee attrition & performance using machine learning in python

Organizations can use technologies to assist them to make better decisions in a range of methods: Artificial intelligence is one of the most reducing technologies that assist firms to develop corporate strategy, organizational elements, and human resource management. Human resources (HR) has gotten a lot of attention in recent years because worker quality and skills are a growth element and a real competitive advantage for the business. Artificial intelligence is now being used to assist employee-related decisions within HR management, after just being introduced to sales and marketing departments. The goal is to promote decisions that are based on objective data analysis instead of subjective criteria. The purpose of this research is to examine how objective factors influence employee attrition in order to decide the most important factors.

Advance door lock with face mask detection using Arduino motion detector by PIR sensor and YOLO-LITE

This project is primarily for the security of any department, it may be the doors of ordinary houses, or it may be of any other type of department. But it is better for the standard doors of the house as some types of doors have many higher locks and are better for that purpose. But house locks are very simple and very basic to be open today, which is that burglary and theft are on the rise this way, so as a solution it can help us protect our home. During the violence of COVID-19, the mask played a key role in preventing the spread of this deadly disease. We know that this deadly disease is spread by air polluted by droplets and tiny particles of air that contain germs. Therefore, the mask played an important role as it suppressed the transmission. Used as a barrier. We are focused on preventing the rapid spread of COVID-19 in public places such as shopping malls, hospitals, and ATMs where people do not wear masks and spread or become infected. It is hard work when we use human power to monitor individuals in the community and high costs. Therefore, we provide a solution using YOLO-lite architecture to determine if the person standing in front of the door is wearing a face mask.

Assessment of Groundwater Quality In Naupada, Ijjavaram, and Mulapeta: Coastal Villages of Srikakulam District of Andhra Pradesh

The various water quality parameters, viz pH, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, total hardness, chloride, calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium ions in bore well and well water of three coastal villages Naupuda, Ijjavaram and Mulapeta of Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh were analyzed by composite sampling methods. Different sampling stations were identified in each of these villages and water samples were collected and analyzed for the various parameters. The results were compared with the values stipulated by World Health and found that the overall quality of the three villages is poor and not recommended as potable.

The Cost and Consumption Pattern of Energy in Bakeries in Bauchi Metropolis

The study assesses the cost and consumption pattern of energy by bakeries in the Bauchi metropolis with a view to providing information for sustainable management of the environment. The data were obtained through both primary and secondary sources. Questionnaires were designed to get the pattern of different types of energy used by bakeries. One hundred copies of the questionnaire were administered to the respondents of the bakeries identified. The totals of 40 bakeries were identified using the snowball sampling method in Bauchi state, the rate of overdependence on woodfuel by owners of bakeries is a great concern. The findings show that Woodfuel and electricity were the main sources of energy used. Thirty-eight (38) bakeries were using wood fuel while two (2) use electricity. This is due to the availability and affordability of woodfuel (N55 per bundle) than electricity (N29.8 per unit). It was found that the high cost is the main factor militating against the use of electricity for baking bread and hot-wet and cold-wet are the period with the high demand of energy for heating the ovens due to the dampness of the environment and also, are the season of the high cost of woodfuel because accessibility is difficult. It was recommended that government and stakeholders should subsidies other alternative sources of energy like solar energy in order to reduce over-dependency on woodfuel which affect the quality of the environment, also modern oven that has a chimney or other clean energy sources should be made available at a subsidized rate, these may reduce the over-dependency on forest resources as the only bank for woodfuel resources for the sustainability of the environment
