An experimental investigation of use of industrial waste and sewage sludge for the production of bricks

In many countries, sludge is a serious problem due to its high treatment costs and the risks to the environment and human health. The sludge presents an increasingly difficult problem to cities of all sizes because of the scarcity of suitable disposal sites, increasing labour costs, and environmental concerns. The study investigated the use of sludge incorporated with clay. In this study, bricks were produced with sewage sludge additions ranging from 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 % by dry weight respectively and compare produce brick with regular brick. After the testing of all the brick samples for the compressive strength it comes to know that bricks made up of sludge up to 10 percent can be used for the construction of all the structures as it has the satisfactory results in the form of the hardness. Also from this investigation, we can solve disposal problem completely and also construct and economical structure with easy designing.

A review of use of industrial waste and sewage sludge for the production of bricks

The most basic building material for construction of houses is the conventional brick. The rapid growth in today’s construction industry has obliged the civil engineers in searching for more efficient and durable alternatives far beyond the limitations of the conventional brick production. A number of studies had taken serious steps in manufacturing bricks from several of waste materials. However, the traditional mean of bricks production which has brought hazardous impacts to the context has not yet been changed or replaced by more efficient and sustainable one. This paper aims to compile this state of the artwork of manufacturing bricks in the past and the current trend in the bricks industry with respect to the raw materials, ways of manufacturing and the outcomings. Moreover, the hazardous impacts of the conventional brick manufacturing will be wholly covered as well as the attempts of the previous researchers in treating the problem properly.

Calculation of volume flow rate required for air conditioners using software

Automation is the present trend which is going on in industries. From cleaning of dishes to preparation of latest equipment everything is prepared by automation technology. So, in this paper, we have concentrated on an important part of Air conditioning Industry which is the calculation of heat loads for a city building plan. In this paper, we have used E-Quest software by the action of which Calculation of volumetric flow required for an air conditioner along with the summer heat load is being found out easily accurately and in a precise manner. We will get accurate load calculations within the shortest time.

Specialized data Analysis of stack overflow

This research paper analyzes and recommends a Question & Answer site for programmers, Stack Overflow, that dramatically improves on the utility and performance of Q&A systems for technical domains. It would be very difficult to analyze the real-time data collected by the users by using traditional techniques. Using a mixed methods approach that combines statistical data analysis with user interviews, we seek to understand this success. Our main focus is to develop a system that provides recommendations and statistical analysis on the basis of data of thousands of users.

An ontological approach for keyword extraction

Many applications such as Text Summarization, Semantic Web, Search Engine Optimization, Sentiment Analysis, and such others make use of Document Classification as a key component in their realization. In order to aid the process of Document Classification, many of these applications rely on extracting domain specific keywords. The existing techniques used are pure NLP and extraction based on only term-document frequency. However, these do not always guarantee accurate results. In our paper, we present an ontological approach to extraction of keywords which will give more precise results as they are based on the context of the search. This is done by creating domain-specific ontologies and using them to extract keywords present in the user’s document.

Automated system for monitoring micro-climatic conditions for farms

This study proposes an advanced solution for monitoring the weather conditions and adopting new farming techniques for the overall growth of the economy. It has been found that 30% of our country’s GDP comes from farming which proves that agriculture is the backbone of our country. Most of the farmers in our country rely on traditional farming However, traditional farming lacks technological advancements and affects our country’s economy in several ways. Most of the problems faced by our country’s farmers are lack of mechanization, improper irrigation system, uncertain climate conditions. Also, there is a growing trend of using hazardous chemicals and improper use of fertilizers which has an adverse effect on the ecosystem.
