E-learning made easy with weblog mining

In this project, a novel concept of weblog mining is performed on e-Learning Website and also the concept of intelligent navigation behavior on user browser is proposed. Web Log Mining initially performs capturing of different weblog file while the user is accessing the e-Learning Website. Weblog file is saved. Log files can’t be directly used for pattern discovery process because it consists of irrelevant and inconsistent access information. Therefore there was a need to perform web log preprocessing which includes different techniques such as field extraction, data reduction, data cleaning, and data summarization. Field extraction and data reduction algorithm performs the process of separating fields from the single line of the log file. Data cleaning algorithm eliminates inconsistent or unnecessary items in the analyzed data. Data summarization generates a different summarized report and gives the graphical representation of the log that is being captured.Preprocessed information is given to pattern discovery and to the intelligent navigation module. Pattern discovery includes mining algorithm such as association rules, sequence patterns & clustering. Association rules is used to mine the data in order to obtain support and confidence for each rule which in turn describe association between the subjects. Clustering approach is used to cluster web sites users into different groups based on navigation behavior of the user. Intelligent navigation module uses a concept of sequence pattern and allows the student to have most frequently used subject at the top most lists, which allows them to have easy access to the tutorial or chapter within the subject i.e. most visited subject will be on the top most preference of the user menu list. We have also performed analysis on the web usage patterns and analyzed different access navigation pattern of the student, which in turn enhances the personalization services in e-Learning Website and makes the system much effective.

Absolute study on support vector machine ensemble support vector machine, back propagation neural network and K nearest neighbor algorithms and its features

In this, I have present t a brief introduction to SVM and discuss SVM properties. In the beginning, I try to define SVM and try to identify as to why SVM with a brief overview of SVM model. The applications of SVM are presented, and for implementation, SVM is analyzed using the algorithm. ESVM areas are included. Support Vector Machines (SVMs) are competing with Neural Networks as tools for solving pattern recognition problems. I have additionally added the BPNN and KNN features.I assume this paper really examined and also understand the working of Backpropagation neural networks and have some background information of K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm. Finally, some conclusions on SVM are added.

Canteen management system using the E-wallet

During breaks, there is a huge crowd in the college canteen. Starting from the queue at the coupon counter to the serving counter a lot of time is spent waiting due to which the students and faculty get late for their lectures. Both students and faculty, often wish to have a way to considerably reduce or get rid of this waiting time. One solution to this problem is to have a system by which once the order gets placed it is directly displayed on a monitor in the kitchen. This would avoid the time wasted at the serving counter when a server takes time to deliver previous orders before taking a new coupon and placing it in the kitchen. Also one can have a facility for placing orders in advance so that his/her order is kept ready just for the particular time he/she chooses. The time spent over tendering change can also be reduced by facilitating payments via e-wallet.

A highly efficient SMPS led driver for lighting applications

This paper proposes an efficient LED Driver for lighting applications. This LED Driver uses TOP256YN Controller which is having an inbuilt controller along with the switch. The Driver is having least number of components so as the losses and compact in size help to cut its cost and improves the efficiency. The simulation is carried out using PSIM software.

Design and fabrication of the digital mileage calculator

Today in this digitized world, if the fuel indicator in the automobiles is also made digital it will help to know the exact amount of fuel available in the fuel tank. The above-furnished fact is considered in my project and I found out a proper solution for indicating the exact availability of fuel in the tank digitally. Here, I am indicating the amount of fuel in the tank in liters. This value in liters will be in numerical digits (ex: 1.2, 1.3, 1.4). This project mainly concentrates on the indication of fuel level in two-wheeler tanks. Various other features like the distance can be traveled to the corresponding fuel, is added to this arrangement which will explain the clear performance of the vehicle to the corresponding fuel.

A study on N-policy FM/FG/1 vacation queuing system with server timeout in triangular, trapezoidal and pentagon fuzzy numbers using α-cuts

This paper studied and investigated about the N-policy queueing system with server timeout, using Triangular Trapezoidal and Pentagon Fuzzy numbers with the application of fuzzy set. We consider single server vacation queueing system that operates in the following manner; when the system is empty, the server waits for fixed time c. At this time if n-customers are waiting in the queue then server return to the system and do the service. At the expiration of the time, if no customer arrives server goes on vacation. Similarly in vacation also if n-customers are waiting in queue serve return to the system and commence service exhaustively. By the approach of DSW algorithm, we develop the membership function of the system performance are of fuzzy nature. Based on the α-cut approach the fuzzy queues are reduced to a family of a crisp set. The numerical examples are also studied in this model.
