Abstract

The Al 7075 alloy matrix materials possess mechanical properties with the addition of B4C particulates as reinforcement with varying weight percentage. Stir casting is used for preparing composite workpiece. Composites were adopted for microstructural studies and hardness survey. The hardness properties are examined for the composite materials and revealed that hardness increases with increase in weight percentage of reinforcement.
