When the foundation is below water table level some amount of uplift pressure is applied on the surface of foundation, therefore current work is going on to remove or zero the uplift pressure by providing a subsoil water drainage system on building foundation. By using this technique, Cost control by making the uplift pressure zero resulting in less thickness of the raft slab. Saving in excavation, concrete, and steel, Time-saving & collected water in the sump is used for flushing purpose and landscaping.
